Commercial Two

There's nothing like fresh squeezed! As I continue work on Legend's hit-pic I wanted to play with a flattened shading style. I think it turned out pretty well in this one.

The more I look at these, I definitely need to do more complex pieces. These are all more like sketches than complete scenes. {shrug}

  2. thanks! Yeah, the sweater came when I unconsciously made her look like an orange. I don't actually intend visual puns, they just happen.

  4. Yeah I second that, I love the shirt with the see through features, especially the belly button. Delicate, fit, soft texture juxtaposed by that strong squeeze... great.

  7. You are very very good, but the last 3 have been rather gross. The surrealism thing is great, and so is the artsy aspect. However when you go for a more clever or artistic cartoon, you also subtract from the arousingness (even if that is not a word) of the cartoon. Personally, when I see your recent cartoons, I have been too distracted by the artisticness or cleverness or the cartooniness , and haven't been "turned on." If you find the middle ground, like with a lot of your earlier work then your cartoons would be amazing (or even more so).

  11. Just a thought... you're doing fake ads, so why not do one for sneakers? It seems like a natural leap from a spoof sneaker ad to a BB drawing. "Owdedias... just shoe it" I dunno, thats the best pun I could come up with off the top of my head, lol.
